Here you will find a fluctuating selection on one off pieces I have painted and small batches of woodwork items that I make when commissions are low as a way to supplement my income.

These lovely larch plinths or display bases are made of solid Siberian larch, and come in my signature fire kissed finish.

These miniature display plinths have been fire treated to provide a natural wood preservation by using the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique and to change the color of wood giving you a 'black' plinth option without the use of extra paint. This highlights the lovely variance in wood texture.

Larch is a lovely wood with a gorgeous tone and grain which really shines when it has been charred. These larch display plinths can be used as is, varnished or oiled and are perfect for displaying miniature pieces or small busts.

The images are not of the exact larch plinth you will receive. All the miniature larch plinths are unique due to variances in the larch grain and charring technique. Please note although these are brushed down after preservation there will still be coal dust present so they should be handled with awareness of this.

These larch display plinths are available as bust or standard shape.
